I practice hypnotherapy because it is something I fervently believe in and am skilful at. I am interested in people as individuals and they seem to be able to trust in me and confide in me. I have worked very hard professionally over the past 20+ years to develop these personal skills in a way that might best serve those who come to see me. I was drawn to Hypnotherapy though personal experience and the profound changes I have experienced myself through hypnosis.
My approach embraces openness, respect and understanding. It focuses on a person’s tremendous potential for change and gives them the chance to address, absolutely confidentially and without being judged, whatever it is that they are struggling with in their life. Thoughts and feelings, mind and body are all closely interlinked but the balance will be different for each individual. I therefore assess each person individually and work with them in whatever way feels most appropriate for them.
Integrative Hypnotherapy – CBT & NLP
My therapy approach to Hypnotherapy might best be described as integrative, incorporating elements of Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming, though I also include various other approaches in my practice.
Having also worked in the field of Eduaction (Special Needs teaching and Consultancy) i have been helping people change for over 20 years has given me particular understanding of the psychological and emotional issues faced by people from all walks of life. It has also meant I have worked closely with many different types of problems.In short I coupled my existing ability tho help people change and grow with the powerful changes that Hypnotherapy delivers.
